Kellie works with a variety of athletes ranging from kids in the development stages to adults that are looking for a healthier lifestyle or trying to achieve a new goal in sport. Her experience has made her successful at helping individuals reach their peak performance as well as making positive lifestyle changes.
Strength and Conditioning is a key element of training. Kellie works one on one with local, and online via a private video review in the development of strength and power by teaching weightlifting movements using the lifts that are appropriate for progression that benefit the long term development of an athlete.
She coaches ultra distance racers through online training for events such as the RAO, RAW, and RAAM including Dennis Johnson’s successful attempt at breaking the record of the 60+ transcontinental crossing by over 10 hours starting at San Diego and finishing in Annapolis Maryland in the Race Across America.
Triathlete Ling Er Choo from Singapore qualified for the World Championship 70.3 Ironman in Austria with a 2nd place age group finish in Malaysia and went on later in the year to win her age group in the full IM in Putrajaya to qualify for Kona in 2015 under Kellie’s guidance. Ling finished Kona with a strong finish of 11 hours.
She has coached a variety of athletes in the past years including a top rookie finish in the Badwater 135 Ultra distance event, as well as a successful training program for a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigations for the Hostage Rescue Team. This was a 12 day selection process that included a variety of physically demanding challenges on minimal sleep. Her willingness to stay focused on each individual is what allows her athletes to be so successful.
